This won’t be a particularly long post, but I did want to comment on a press release from Young Labour that was released on Wednesday. The press release, entitled “Students say NO to Youth Rates!” involves quotes from two people from within Young Labour (President Ella Hardy and Union Representative Chelsea Torrance) about how negative Youth Rates are.
If this was an advertisement, I would be contacting the Advertising Standards Authority and placing a complaint as this would clearly be false advertising. They are trying to suggest that all students, or at least a majority of them, are saying no to Youth Rates. However, for this press release to be proving that, we could have no more than three students in the country. Something to think about….
