Before I go any further, there’s a good chance this is out of date. I don’t update it particularly often. Or at all, to be honest. The about page on my personal blog will be more up-to-date.
I’m Daniel Farrell. I am a student at the University of Waikato studying a Bachelor of Laws conjoint with a Bachelor of Management Studies. I am also on the committee of the Independent Broadcasting Community, who run Contact FM. I’m also an announcer of Contact FM. I am also a member of UN Youth New Zealand and the University of Waikato Debating Society. Nothing I say on here is the view on any organisation I am a member of, no matter what position I may hold there.
I started Politicalisation for two reasons. Firstly, I wanted an outlet to bitch and moan about idiot politicians. Secondly, I thought that it would be a good way to get people thinking about politics. I don’t like that people under the age of 25 (or even 30) are so apathetic in New Zealand. They just don’t care. Politics is the most important part of a society. Without it, a society cannot function, because politics is what makes a country run.
I am also really stoked to have my good friend Liam Winter on board. We don’t always agree on things, so expect some clash between us at times, but certainly do get involved. Leave comments. If you want to make a guest post, send me a message on Twitter. My twitter handle is @danielfarrellnz.
Thanks for visiting. It really is appreciated!
